Exam & Pricing Changes for 2010

* Exam Schedule 2010 *

Effective January 1, 2010, all BOMI exams (except for the Ethics Short Course) will be administered through computer-based testing in Pearson VUE testing centres across Canada. Students have a six-month eligibility period to schedule and take their exam. For self-study students, the eligibility period begins on the date of registration; for classroom students, the eligibility period begins as of the first day of class. If a student does not take the exam within this period, the student must pay an Exam Administration fee to begin a new six-month eligibility period.

Upon receipt of the course registration and testing fees, BOMI will notify Pearson VUE that the student is eligible to schedule an exam appointment. Students will receive an Eligibility Letter, via email or mail, from BOMI providing notification of the student’s eligibility period and instructions on how to schedule the exam appointment. This communication will include the student name, eligibility ID, course name, and eligibility start and end dates. Please insure that we have your correct e-mail or mailing address.

Self-Study Pricing 2010
These fees apply to students who are registering for a course with examination in 2010

The following list of Self-Study courses reflects the current course requirements (plus electives) for each designation. Note that the new pricing for 2010 includes the fee for computer based testing. If you are already enrolled, please check with BOMI about specific course requirements based on your date of enrollment. NOTE: You are required to successfully complete an exam (minimum score of 70%) at the end of every course. Please see the schedule below for exam registration deadlines. Exams are administered at the major city nearest you.

PROCESSING
Only orders with payment can be processed. There will be a $20 processing fee for returned cheques.

PRICES
Prices are subject to change without notice.

DESIGNATION & COURSE ENROLLMENT FEES
There is an $80 + GST*** enrollment fee for individual courses (those taken separately from a designation program). If you take an individual course, then decide to enroll in a designation program, the $80 + GST fee from your first course (only) may be applied toward the $210 + GST enrollment fee for your first designation program. There is an $80 + GST enrollment fee for students enrolling in a second or third designation program. Fees are non-refundable and must be paid with or before enrolling in a course or a designation program.

REFUNDS
BOMI Canada guarantees its course materials for up to 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our course materials, return them within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. Please call prior to returning the materials to BOMI Canada at 1-888-821-9319. In Toronto call: 416-977-8700

EXCEPTION
If you want to return course materials for an Accelerated Review class, please contact the Classroom sponsor for return policy details.

EXAM COMPLETION
Successful completion of a course requires passing an exam with a minimum score of 70%. Students have 6 months from registration to complete an exam.
